Cleanscreen started business in 1988. Stuart Hills worked in computer operations for Associated Newspapers and saw first hand the effect of dirty keyboards and screens on staff in terms of morale and realised there was a need to improve the working environment, especially as journalists, advertising staff and administrators spent over 40 hours a week at their computer. From a computer operations point of view he also saw that regularly cleaning computers and IT equipment extended its lifespan and improved staff morale.
Stuart felt there was a need to provide a specialist computer cleaning service to the many thousands of offices throughout London and the UK.
Over the past 22 years we have gradually expanded by responding to extra customer needs and requirements by employing more staff, some of whom have been with us for over 10 years.
Even after 22 years we still pride ourselves on the level of personal service we can offer. We enjoy meeting new and existing customers, getting out on site and being involved in the day to day involvement of making sure the computers get cleaned to the standards we set when we started out.
We have full public liability insurance cover for up to £2 million underwritten at Lloyds and can provide references from many of our satisfied customers including newspapers, law firms, accountants, lottery organisers as well as many smaller companies throughout London and the south-east, some of whom have been with Cleanscreen since we started.
We are always happy to come and visit your office - in fact we always prefer too - and we'll happily perform a demonstration of a full computer, phone, mouse and keyboard clean. This also helps us to see exactly what you need - no more and no less so we can give you the most competitive quote possible.
